Further Lo is an American Heavy Metal band from Columbus, Ohio which was formed in 2001. The band is currently signed to Power Play Records out of New Hampton, NY. Further Lo’s musical influences include the bay area style thrash bands of the mid - late 80’s including Slayer, Anthrax, Forbidden, and Megadeth. Further Lo is influenced vocally by bands like Iron Maiden, Nevermore, and Testament. Through the band’s touring history, members of Further Lo have shared the stage with Armored Saint, Nevermore, Iced Earth, Napalm Death, King Diamond, Mercyful Fate, Napalm Death, Souls at Zero, and Bruce Dickinson. Further Lo’s Power Play debut album was released in 2004 to world-wide distribution in Europe, and North and South America. The band toured the US in support of the album. The follow-up album, tentatively titled “A New Form of Suicide” is scheduled for a late winter / early spring release date in 2008.
