| Rick Soga - Guitar | |
| Steve Mitchell - Guitar | |
| Tommy Johns (real name Tommy Gianikos) - Vocals | |
| Danny Boyd - Drums | |
Ty Tyler (real name Todd Berry) - Bass
| |
| Tyler left in 1987 & was replaced by Jim Miller from The Bellows, who Tyler then replaced. | |
| Although it was not a brokered trade, essentially they swapped bands, whereafter Tyler | |
| dropped his stage name. | |

| 3 shows later, Johns left for LA and eventually formed Mad Moxie. | |
| After Johns left, Soga joined The Godz, as had Boyd some months before--he was already in the Godz on the | |
| occasion of Shock Tu's final three shows with Johns. Boyd was allowed to play these shows provided he | |
| wore a Godz t-shirt all three nights. | |
| By mid 1988 Soga and Boyd had left the Godz and reformed Shock Tu, eventually replacing Johns with | |
| Joey C. Jones (ex-Sweet Savage, real name Joe Crabtree). | |
| Miller did not meet Jones until the day before their first show, on the occasion of this line-up's first | |
| full-strength rehearsal. | |

| Band relocated to Dallas, Texas in late October, 1988. In January 1989 Boyd amicably departed and was | |

| In autumn 1989, keyboardest Les Farrington was hired by Shock Tu to provide live and sampled backing | |
| vocals in an off-stage capacity. Although he liked Farrington personally, Miller said his inclusion in Shock Tu | |
| "made about as much sense as Thomas Dolby joining AC/DC, and he considers Farrington's addition | |
| the largest contributing factor toward that line-up's ultimate demise." | |

| In December 1990, after a months-long, on-going feud between Shock Tu's record company and producer | |
| resulted in the indefinitely-delayed release of their first album, Jones and Koudelka suddenly quit the group. | |
| This line-up's last show was New Year's Eve, 1990-91. | |
| In March 1991, Miller and Soga reformed a harder-edged and keyboardless Shock Tu with original drummer | |
| Dan Boyd. However, within weeks Boyd parted ways and was replaced by Ric Martelino (ex-Shanghai). | |
| After auditioning several area vocalists, the band decided on Tim Owings (ex-Trixx), with whom they had | |
| recorded a demo shortly after their reformation in March (on which Boyd played drums). | |
